Board of Directors

The Board of Directors represent the highest form of leadership within the Fund, and serve industry-agnostic executive functions. The Board is responsible for approving every position entry and exit, as well as maintaining & improving general Fund operations across membership, fund-wide investment strategy, and external relations.

Michelle Chen

Chief Executive Officer, Chair of the Board

Michelle is a junior in the McDonough School of Business, majoring in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Outside of GUSIF, Michelle is a student assistant with the Psaros Center, TA for the Accounting Department, and member of Hoyaltyics. In her free time, she enjoys visiting art museums, trying new restaurants, watching F1, and the NYT daily puzzles.

Ana Mocanu

Chief Operating Officer, President

Ana is a junior in the McDonough School of Business double-majoring in Finance and Operations & Analytics. Outside of GUSIF, she enjoys horseback riding, reading, watching F1, and going on runs.

Malvika Mehta

Chief Investment Officer

Malvika is a junior in the McDonough School of Business double-majoring in Finance and Operations & Analytics. Outside of GUSIF, she plays for the Georgetown University Cricket Club. In her free time, she enjoys ranking new restaurants on Beli, traveling, and playing card games. 

James Steigerwald

Director of External Relations

James is a Junior in the College of Arts & Sciences, majoring in Economics and Psychology. Outside of GUSIF, James is a member of Corp Accounting. In his free time, he enjoys golf, traveling, reading mystery books, watching Philadelphia sports teams, and hanging out with friends.

Nick Neshovski

Director of Performance

Nick is a junior in the McDonough School of Business and Walsh School of Foreign Service, majoring in Business and Global Affairs. Outside of GUSIF, he is involved with the Georgetown Balkan Club. In his free time, he enjoys watching soccer, going to the gym, and hiking.

Leo Siegel

Director of Education

Leo is a junior in the McDonough School of Business majoring in Finance and Accounting. Outside of GUSIF, Leo is a member of the Club Soccer team. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, playing poker, and watching college basketball.
